Elden Charles is a highly decorated Veteran of the United States Army and has transferred his skills as a Non-Commissioned Officer to public and private business environments. He graduated with honors from the Warrior Leadership Course of the United States Army and has a Bachelors degree in Business Management with a concentration in Management and Finance. After over a decade of serving his country, he felt his talents would be put to good use as a civilian doing what he loves most; leading and serving others. Elden was recruited by Transamerica financial advisors in 2007 and worked as an advisor and insurance professional until 2014. While at Transamerica, he earned the position and responsibility of Marketing Director and spearheaded sales in his office while he managed client relations. He was also responsible for the training of agents. Elden was recruited by JP Morgan Chase in 2012 and worked as a Private Banker through 2014 to help spearhead a new initiative; this was to improve customer relations with the bank – in particular, high net worth clients. While at Chase, he was consistently recognized regionally for being a team player, helping the company reach quarterly goals and taking care of customers.

Randal Jay Ehm
AIA, Architect AIBC, CDS, NCARB, ASCAP

Mr. Ehm knew at age 15 that he was destined to be an Architect. He was accepted into the prestigious University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts in 1979, but ran out of money in 1981. Randal went to work at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, serving as Field Engineer for the Electrical Contractor on construction of two new nuclear plants. Randal then went to work for ALCOA in August 1982. Mr. Ehm was then hired by Solar Turbines to do sheet metal drafting in 1983. Subsequently, he worked for several of San Diego’s largest firms over a four-year period. Soon after, he opened Artek San Diego, a drafting firm which served architects exclusively. In a four-year period, he and his staff of seven produced working drawings — well before the advent of Computer-Aided Drafting – on over 400 diverse projects. This broad exposure to a multitude of project types and graphic standards gave him an incredible knowledge base in a relatively short period of time. He ultimately served the American Institution of Architects at the local, state and national levels, and was nominated five years running for the Institute’s National Young Architect Award for his outstanding professional service. After transitioning Artek from a drafting firm into an architectural firm upon his licensure in California in 1991, Randal renamed the firm as Ehm Architecture. Since that time, he has served as Architect on over 1,300 projects. Randal earned a certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in 2004, and is now licensed in California, Montana, Nevada, Texas, Washington and British Columbia CANADA.”

Who We Are

ModdLiving is a manufacturer and developer of prefabricated buildings. Our company specializes in leveraging shipping containers as a construction material. End-users of ModdLiving structures are primarily developers and operators of economy and budget lodges, hotels, and affordable housing. Our goal is to revolutionize Hotel Project Development in the U.S.
ModdLiving leverages three unique strategies to enter this market: prefabricated manufacturing, inexpensive construction material, and speed to market. Prefabricated manufacturing can lower the overall cost of construction 30-40%. Finally, product availability will hasten speed and delivery over traditional construction approaches.
We have several experienced partners to execute our business strategy. Our company has a dedicated manufacturing team with over 50 years’ experience in metal fabrication. The chosen architectural firm has deep experience and familiarity with modular design. ModdLiving also partners with several experienced organizations to assist hotel developers with construction and related finance.
